Leonesse Cellars is one of the premiere wedding destinations in the Temecula Valley. As a photographer I particularly appreciated the fact that the wedding venue was located on a small hill commanding sweeping views over the vineyards and the wine country below. Not only is this a gorgeous location, but the staff were highly professional, catering to every need. At one point I sheepishly asked if crates of wine could be moved to allow an unobstructed view of the oaken wine barrels as a backdrop for photography. The owner, Mike Rennie, had them moved promptly, explaining that We do everything we can to please our brides. Not only was the staff diligent and highly professional, but the food was fantastic. After work I tried a glass of the Leonesse Chardonnay. The wine was exceptional. This winery is situated on 20 acres and is centered around the Estate Building/Wine Tasting room. The separate Barrel room also offers tasting and has an adjacent Bridal suite.
